Hit-A-Thon!! You Gotta Be There!
Saturday, February 18, 2017 • around 3:00 PM
Our first community event of the calendar year is our Hit-A-Thon, Anderson players compete with each other by hitting a certain number of balls, then seeing who hit farthest. Then later, just about anyone who would like gets a chance to hit baseballs on the field! The event looks a little different each year as it reflects the Hit-A-Thon Committee’s flare, but, fundamentally, the players are asked to raise pledges from family, friends, neighbors, alumni … anyone willing. The pledges can be a flat donation or based on the length of the player’s hits during the Hit-A-Thon.
When the hitting concludes, we adjourn to Chipotle for dinner. Chipotle donates 50% of sales to our Booster Club, so bring your entire family, a few neighbors and invite tons of friends! It is fun!!
Anderson Baseball Annual Banquet
